So Much Happy March 2019 Sketchy Challenge

Creative Scrapbooker Magazine freely provides us with their "Sketchy Challenge" every month. I love doing these challenges and get inspired by them. Close To My Heart's So Much Happy papers are available in the Jan-April 2019 Seasonal Catalog were a perfect inspiration for me to make a scrapbook page that I could use for spring flower pictures. You can see the layouts on the Creative Scrapbooker's Facebook page at:  https://www.facebook.com/groups/2164958267106146/

Here is my interpretation of the sketch using the So Much Happy papers:

The Flower Market Cricut cartridge gave me the flowers I needed to create a cheery spring flower page for my Texas Blue Bonnet pictures. The banner and title Springtime along with the blue bonnet and daffodils were cut using this cartridge. The flowers and all the layers were cut at 3 1/4 ". Once you decide what height of flower you want, all the pieces (layers) use the same measurement.

Packing for a Seasonal Catalog Launch or Short Crop

Close To My Heart will have a new catalog coming May 1, 2019. For consultants, a catalog launch comes a little over a month in advance so we can order and prepare kits for our customers. This is such a fun time for consultants since we get together and ohhh and ahhh over the new papers, kits, complements, etc. We even get to create a little something together and chat about our business and share ideas to help our customers. I've taken the Supply List that was sent to us and put a little video together to pack up all the supplies I will need to create the project that we will be doing. This video is only a basic list of tools I would also bring for a crop. I would add more Tombow if I was going for many more hours or days. I would also add thin cuts, embossing folders, Cricut cartridges, Flip-flaps for fun additions.

I can't wait to see the new catalog!! WooHoo ;-)

A Fun St. Patrick's Day Card Color Dare Challenge

This is a fun little card for St. Patrick's Day. I decided to make my pot of gold in the form of a shaker window and gold sequins. The shamrock from the Lucky Friendship stamp set was perfect! The inspiration came from the Color Dare Color Challenge #332 for St. Patrick's Day.
