The Aurora collection is so special. The Aurora Borealis is shown on 2 papers, a starry night filled with constellations is on 2 more, and a gradation of mountains on the next 2. They are wonderful!! I decided to take my "Make It From Your Heart" vol 3 sketch book and pack of Aurora papers into my video room and make something happen. The sketch I chose could be used vertically or horizontally. I cut the papers (paying attention to the orientation of the design) 6 x 12, 4 x 12, 1/2x12, and 1 1/2 x 12. You could just make the cuts 2, 4, 6 for ease. The number of pictures are up to you. I used the suggested picture layout from the book on the 1st layout and put fewer pictures on the 2nd. Once again, it's up to you. Then embellish away! I used the Julep shimmer tape which worked beautifully. These specific items are available until June 30th but any papers can be used and the "Make It From Your Heart" vol 3 sketch book will continue to be available. Aurora Paper & Sticker Sheet
There are cards that are for birthday's, weddings, holidays, thank you, congratulations, ... you get the idea. The one event in life that is so difficult is the loss of a loved one. I was recently very grateful for a couple of Close To My Heart stamps sets that helped me make a cards for friends that lost their son rather unexpectedly. It's so hard for me to come up with the words to say, so the sentiments from the ""With Heartfelt Sympathy" is a stamp set that will help me now and in the future with this emotionally difficult task. Colors are your choice. We are coming to the end of our catalogs, so this set may not be available after August 2020. Here are the stamp sets I used:
I've used Heat and dry embossing to add interest and dimension to this Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge card. The stamp set is the July Stamp of the Month. This set has sweet images that are perfect for coloring. I decided to play with heat embossing on vellum then coloring the vellum with our Tri-Blend markers. The coloring was very easy and gave a different look than cardstock. The dry embossing folder I used is from my stash but you could use a lot of different ones. I love this little girl with a great big bouquet of flowers!
