Remember Today is a Cut Above (easy peasy) kit made to create a calendar. I decided, instead, to create a 2022 album. I like 1 page layouts but, I'd rather have 2 page layouts in an album. I thought I would take each layout and cut it up in a way to easily make a 2 page layout. The process videos show you how I worked through each layout. I added white or black cardstock to add to the pages. I also used a lot of embellishments from my stash as well as scraps from prior kits. Whatever I needed to extend the pages, I pulled out and used.

This was a rather big project but I really enjoyed doing it. I used the white pearl paper and Desert Rose glitter paper the I hadn't touched yet. The black acrylic hearts and flowers embellishments got used. I did a lot of splatter painting with shimmer brushes, which is great fun! I hadn't used the Blue Bell shimmer tape yet and got to use it in a way that was different by cutting it in half lengthwise. I used my water brush with the coordinating stamp pads for a watercolor wash. These are all super easy techniques that anyone can do. I hope you add them to your repertoire for scrapbooking, cardmaking or any other paper crafts you do.
