I've made a couple of videos showing a bunch of Christmas Cards I made to send out this year. I have to say this is the latest I've made cards so most if not all will be late on arrival. Last year I sent out cards in plenty of time for everyone to receive them on time. I got a text from my SIL in NC, in May, that she just got my card! The Post Office is not what it used to be. I have faith that it will do better in the future. That is not going to stop me from sending out paper cards!!!
I got some of my ideas for the cards from Pinterest, and the Atlantic Heart Sketch Challenge.
Here are some pictures of the cards I made and sent out:
The slim line cards and the deer cards are the November and December Stamps of the Month 2022.
The papers used for the cards are the Four Seasons Winter papers 2022 as well as older Christmas papers. Some are the Christmas Story Picture My Life cards with cardstock, glitter paper and shimmer trim. the silver trees are silver foil paper. I also used several embossing folders for interest and dimension. Close To My Heart Cricut collections were used for various Cricut cuts and CTMH thin cuts were used to enhance the sentiments.
Here's a card challenge from the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge and Color Dare Color Challenge 524. I put this together using a slimline card, Wisteria, Mist & Melon cardstock, Snowflakes thin cuts, Elegant Snowflakes and thin cuts, silver foil cardstock and Wisteria ink.
Creative Scrapbooker Magazine FB Sketchy group brings us another sketch challenge for September. This is my process video showing what I chose to create my page. These sketches can be used with any papers and embellishments to coordinate with your theme. Mine is Autumn and leaves. I used the Color My Heart Color Dare Challenge for inspiration for my color scheme.
This is a my video of the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge 488. I made it from the Crisp Air Picture My Life cards. SO EASY!!! A little trimming, a little fussy cutting, and poof a card!!!
This card was created with Crisp Air Picture My Life Cards and a 1" x 5.5" piece of Pine cardstock.
This is a single page scrapbook layout using the August 2022 Sketch Challenge from Creative Scrapbooker Magazine FaceBook page. I used Close To My Heart's Crisp Air papers and stickers to create it. The sketch would well with any paper. I really enjoy doing these "Sketchy Challenges". They are easy, effective and fun to do and help you when you are stuck and need an idea. Check out their FB page.
This is the 3rd braided card I've made. This card is a Welcome Autumn card! I'm so ready for cooler weather! It is easy to do this technique, thanks to online templates. It's worth a try for your own fun. I have a link to a template for your use. I also have links to the products I've used to make the cards.
This is a process video of a card that is a mix of the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge 487 and the Color My Heart Color Dare Challenge 510. I made a background using the one of the stencils from the Card Front Stencils Pack 2. I also used the September Stamp of the Month "enjoy These Moments". One of the new CTMH's Color Palette colors, Pine, was used and 2 existing colors, Nectarine and Mocha.
Here is the final product of these challenges:

After perusing Pinterest, I came across braided/lattice work cards. I had to try the technique right away! I fell in love, I guess because I always liked flowers and vines on lattice work. I was pleased with how easy it is to do this technique, thanks to online templates. It's worth a try for your own fun. I have a link to a template for your use. I also have links to the products I've used to make the cards.
