This is a full walk-through of both the full annual Core catalog with all the permanent products available for the entire year from Sept 1, 2020 to Aug 31, 2021. The Sept-Oct 2020 seasonal catalog is also shown in it's entirety.

We have so many wonderful new products in the Annual Core Catalog that we've never carried before. These are very exciting times at Close To My Heart. We are providing more products and more opportunities for consultants (now Makers) and customers. Starting October 1st customers can become VIP customers and receive discounts. The Story Begins-An Easy to Create Scrapbook Album for a Baby Girl!!

Flowers!!! Scrapbook Pages Using the CTMH August Stamp of the Month

The August Stamp of the Month  has all these wonderful flowers on it. I will admit to going overboard and stamping and embossing 100 or more of them! I used cheerful colors of ink and cardstock to liven things up. I had to fussy cut all of the images so it did take time and I did had deep ridges in my fingers afterward, but I love my flowers. Now I have so many, I'm looking to make whatever I can to use them up. This is one of my projects, a 2 page layout for family photos that are out being printed. Can't wait!!

Floating Frames on Cards-The Good The Bad and the Oops!!

This is my first attempt at making a floating frame card. You can learn what not to do then see my next video of what I learned!!

Here's my oops card:

 

The 3 cards in this video are my next attempt at the floating frame card. Using a floral cluster rather than individual pieces is the way to go. I used a thin cut to make a circle from the upper center of the flower layout and set it aside while I created the first card (lower left). The wreath and sentiment were stamped onto a round made from the same thin cut. The leftover circle of flowers were raised with foam dots and tape and adhered to another card (lower right). Quotes and sentiments were added. The card on top was created to use up some of the many pieces I stamped, embossed and fussy cut. I decided to not cut out a space for a sentiment but placed the flowers and leaves so that an irregular opening would be left for the sentiment. The stamp sets used are A million Little Things and the August Stamp of the Month.

I Think I Got It!

I'm happy with how they turned out. I've already picked out who I'm going to send my cards to. I can't wait for them to receive them!

Creating a Card Using the Operation Smile Stamp Set- You Make Me Happy

The Atlantic Heart Sketch Challenge 379 is the inspiration for my card today. The sentiment and sweet little happy dog on the outside is from the Operation Smile stamp set, You Make Me Happy.  The sentiment I used for the inside is from a wonderful stamp set called Sentiments and Stitches.

Stitched Together Workshop-the Cutting guide and Layouts 1, 2 and 3

I am highlighting the Stitched Together Workshop kit from Close To My Heart. These layouts are like quilting with paper. The patterns are quilting patterns and the papers look like material you'd pick to make a quilt. All three layouts are interesting, detailed, unusual and beautiful. The colors and paper patterns are exactly what you would pick out for a quilt. I took a lot of joy and pleasure in building all the layouts. Appreciation Cards for Front Line Workers

I created some appreciation cards for the people that shop for us and deliver the groceries. Oh, how we appreciate the work they do for us! Forever Grateful is a double stamp set with 16 icons for all types of occupations and a 2nd stamp set with many sentiments, borders and hearts. I made a bunch of cards that I keep at my front door with a tip inside. They are ready to go when the groceries arrive!
