So Thanks for the Memories Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge!
Here is the outside of the card:
and the inside:
I created the card from our Regatta papers which are now sold out, unfortunately. The white figure on the waves could either be a sailboat or sailor hat. I always loved wearing my Dad's sailor hat and his navy peacoat. He was in the Coast Guard on the North Atlantic during WWII. He's gone now, so the little hat and the "Nothing but blue skies ahead" is for him.
This does give you an idea though of the make-up of the kits. The zip strips have coordinating borders and sentiments that go along with the papers. The little puffy stickers and the flat stickers add to the kits to make for easy embellishment. The paper pack has 2 sheets of easy to cut up Picture My Life images in 3x4 and 4x6 size. One side is vertical the other side horizontal, perfect for your layouts.
Thanks for walking down memory lane with me.

ReplyDeleteAbsolutely fun, cheery and overall STUNNING card. ReplyDeleteThank you ladies! Thank you for the inspiration. I never know where a sketch is going to take me!!
ReplyDeleteLoving the use of regatta with this card- such a clever idea to use the seagull paper on the front too as it really adds some depth to the card. Thanks so much for sharing with us at AHSC.
ReplyDeleteSo cute... I love your theme and how you saw a boat in the sketch! (It's all I can see now!)
ReplyDeleteThese are both so adorable! I love your cruise ship. Thanks for playing along with AHSC!
ReplyDeleteLove all the embellishments, complements, PML card and design papers you brought together on your card using Regatta...very clever card. I also looked at the sketch and saw the ship; but you did a great job on this interpretation. Thanks for sharing at AHSC and hope you join us this week for the new challenge.
