It's all random!
This card is challenges from Between The Folds and Color My Heart Color Dare.
Random stamping isn't difficult but sometimes it is hard to get looking "right".
Here is my random stamping. I used 1st and second generation stamping. That just means I stamped an image then stamped again elsewhere without re-inking.
So the trick to random stamping is to make triangles with your stamp. Stamp off the edges to make the image flow. After you think you are finished, look at it and fill in some white areas with a small stamp if you wish. Practice and it will make sense.
Between The Folds offers a challenge.
- I had fun with a cute little stamp Hi Friend.
- The leaves are cut out from the Flower Market Cricut Cartridge and are stippled with Sorbet and Pomegranate inks. I used a Shin Han marker for the veins.
- The stamp set, Blessed Beyond Measure, is the stamp of the month for September. The sentiment and leaves were used. I LOVE this stamp!!
- Gold ribbon from the Uptown Ribbon pack and sequins from the Gold Sequin Assortment were used for embellishment. Green bubbles-discontinued.
The flower background is on a 3 3/4 x 5" white daisy cardstock adhered onto a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 piece of black cardstock. This was then adhered to a white daisy card from our White Daisy Card and Envelope Value pack.
I'm totally getting into the Autumn look, yay!!
Thanks for stopping by!
What a fantastic card, Dorothy, I would not have guessed this to be a stamped card but rather a piece of DSP you bought somewhere! I love your autumn leaves and how you used the sequins for the centers of your flowers. Great job! Thanks for sharing with us this week at Between The Folds.
