Rock and Roll Technique for the Hugs for You cards

I created the cards from the Hugs for You Workshops Your Way. I wanted to show one of my clubs what they look like in person and to work out any kinks when you make these versatile cards. The cards have many uses including Valentines Day cards. I love the Stitched Thin Cut circles that is suggested in the instructions. It' also been awhile since we used the rock & roll technique, which I really love and wanted to show how easy it is do do. I decorated the envelopes that come with the kit also.

The kit contents include:

1 – exclusive workshop stamp set (B-size)
2 – Boutique sheets
4 – cardstock sheets (1 Saffron, 2 Sugarplum, 1 White Daisy)
1 – Mink Twine (Z4221)
12 – white card bases & envelopes
Create 12 cards using the materials in this kit and easy-to-follow instructions (also found below). Complete your cards using the exclusive stamp images designed to give you ultimate control over the creative process, so you can always make your cards your way.

  • Use these 4 thin metal dies to quickly and easily cut the shapes shown.
  • Size of shapes: 2¼", 1¾", 1¼", ¾".
  • Thin Cuts are packaged on their own magnetic sheet and work well with most die-cutting machines. I use the Cricut Cuttlebug.

Here is my supply list:

  1. Hugs for You Workshop Your Way
  2. Charcoal Ink Pad
  3. Saffron Ink Pad
  4. Sugarplum Ink Pad
